Cracovia get much-deserved rest following their victory against Ruch Chorzów Friday night. They will be back in training on Tuesday getting ready for Sundays clash with Lech Poznań.

Last Friday Cracovia defeated Ruch Chorzów 1-0 snatching all three points, which may turn out to be of great importance at the of the season. Right now thanks to the victory and other teams scores in matchday 34 Pasy achieved just what coach Jacek Zieliński said was their aim e.g. returned to the third position in the Ekstraklasa. Right now Cracovia have a one-point advantage over Zagłębie Lubin, who are fourth. They also are seven points behind Piast Gliwice and Legia Warszawa who are at the top of the table. It is worth mentioning that the Fridays win was our fifth in a years time against Ruch - in the last seasons playoffs we beat Ruch 1-0, in the pre-season friendly we won 2-1 and in the 2015/2016 regular season we defeated the team from Chorzów 2-1 and 3-2. The last of the four games was especially important as Pasy broke the Ruch stadium spell, winning in Chorzów for the first time in 65 years.

Last weekend our team managed to repeat the success and still have a great chance to finish this season high in the league table. One day after the game Pasy had a football practice at the clubs training facility and in the two following days they were given time off by coach Zieliński. It means that tomorrow they will start getting ready for the game against Lech Poznań. On Tuesday morning they are to meet up at the training centre to exercise in the gym and in the afternoon they will take part in a football training. The match with Lech is to be played on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. If you want to learn more about the tickets to the game click [HERE].
