Cracovia dominate Lesser Poland Footballer and Coach of the Year awards

This years Lesser Poland Footballer and Coach of the Year awards turned out to be the best in the history for our club. Most importantly, Mateusz Cetnarski was recognized as The Best Player of the Year!
The ceremony held at the Bonerowski Palace was very memorable for our club. To start with, Cracovias young and talented Paweł Jaroszyński received a Debut of the Year award. ‘I am honoured,", said the defender just after having been handed the award by Marek Koźmiński, the vice-president of the Polish Football Association.
The Best Coach in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship title went to Jacek Zieliński, who has been at Cracovia since the 20th of April 2015. ‘Since I took over the team, Cracovia has come a long way, from being an Ekstraklasa bottom team to becoming the leagues revelation. I would never have thought that eight months at Cracovia would be enough to win such an award. I will do everything to make Cracovia even more successful, said coach Jacek Zieliński.
While Deniss Rakels, our best striker in the 21st century who left Pasy this winter, was named the second best player in Lesser Poland, the main award of The Best Lesser Poland Footballer of 2015 went to Cracovia midfielder Mateusz Cetnarski! ‘I would like to thank all the players and our coaching staff. I am here thanks to you. I hope at least most of us will meet here again in a years time, said Mateusz Cetnarski.
