Cracovia fought till the very end, but did not manage to gain any points in the game against KGHM Zagłębie Lubin. That was our first home defeat since mid-September.

In the beginning both teams scrapped for possession with chances in front of goal a rarity and the first half seemed destined to end goalless until Krzysztof Piątek was tripped in the penalty box by Piotr Polczak just before the interval. Filip Starzyński stepped up to fire the shot and sent Grzegorz Sandomierski the wrong way from the spot to make it 1-0.

Trailing 1-0 Cracovia knew they had to come out attacking in the second half. On 54 minutes Boubacar Diabang danced his away into the penalty area and lined up a shot to level the scores!

Unfortunately Zagłębie restored the lead nine minutes later with Łukasz Janoszka smashing one home from the distance. Cracovia fashioned a couple more goal-scoring opportunities, but in the end had to accept defeat.
