Jacek Zieliński met with the media for a pre-match press conference ahead of Sundays clash at Szczecin.

‘This week we have several problems due to yellow card suspensions and injuries. Bartosz Kapustka and Deleu picked up four yellow cards and will be absent on Sunday. Dariusz Zjawiński still isnt back to training with the team and Hubert Adamczyk is sick and will not be ready for the game on Sunday. What is more, Damian Dąbrowskis shoulder was carefully examined. As it turns out his injury is more serious than it seemed and requires surgery. As a result this is the end of the season for Damian, which is very unfortunate both for him and for us. We lost a great player and Damian was deprived of the chance to make a debut for the Poland national team. Were it not for the injury, he would receive a call-up. Thats how it is in football. For quite a long time we didnt have any problems with injuries or yellow cards and now everything crashes down. Nevertheless, we are not intending to wring our hands over a few players being absent on Sunday. Its not going to be our alibi, coach Jacek Zieliński talked about his team during the pre-match press conference.

‘We have a plan on how to play against Pogoń Szczecin, but its always easier said than done. As I was suspended for two games, coach Piotr Górecki will take over my duties on Sunday. We will make some decisions before the game, but later on he will have to act on his own responsibility. We dont need any extra motivation ahead of the match with Pogoń. We lost the last two games, but we played quite well. Of course, there are still some elements which need to be improved if we want to end the period of stagnation. Pogoń are fourth in the league table so this game may determine who will finish third after the regular season, added Cracovia coach.
