Born in Split, Croatia, he took his first steps in professional football - however, not over the Adriatic, but outside his home country. Until his 20th birthday, he has represented the colours of NK GOŠK Gabel, first as a junior - and then as a player of the first team. At the senior level, he made his debut as an eighteen-year-old, playing 42 matches at Bosnian Prva Liga level for almost three full seasons. He has also found his way into the rival's net four times.

The talented player returned to his home country in the winter of 2016, joining the Croatian 1. HNL team - Lokomotiva Zagreb. He remained at the central level of the competition in this country for the following years, also representing the colours of the team from the lower league, HNK Šibenik.

In the team from Šibenik he immediately proved his usefulness, playing the full 90 minutes in the debut game. He quickly became one of HNK's key players, starting 25 matches from the first minute.

After a six-month loan to the Slovenian NK Aluminij Kidricevo Rodin returned to Bosnia, where he put on an NK GOŠK T-shirt again in winter 2018. During the spring round at the highest level of Bosnian games, he played from the first to the last minute in all fourteen games, scoring goals twice. He also served as the team captain in two matches, ending the 2017/18 season.

An excellent round resulted with a transfer to the current Bosnian champion, the Zrinski Mostar team. However, the 2018/19 season he played entirely in the colours of its league rival, Željezničar Sarajevo. He appeared in 24 league matches, beating the rival's goalekeeper three times. Only twice he didn't start the match from the first minute.

He started his last season as a player of Italian Perugia, moving back to Croatia in winter. Behind him is the full round as the first-choice defender of NK Varaždin, playing at the highest level of the league. He left only one meeting during all spring.

In the three league rounds of the 2020/21 season played so far, he has performed twice from the first minute, directly moving to our Stadium after there matches.
