    We now know Cracovia’s first signing in the summer transfer window – Mateusz Szczepaniak has joined Pasy from Miedź Legnica in permanent transfer! He has signed a 4-year contract which will come into force on the 1st of July 2016.

    Mateusz Szczepaniak was born on the 23rd January 1991 in Lubin where he started his football career at Amico Lubin and Zagłębie Lubin junior teams, before in the 2008-09 season he joined AJ Auxerre junior squad. In the 2010-11 season he played for the clubs reserve team and the next year he moved back on loan to Zagłębie. Mateusz also player for KS Polkowice and Miedź Legnica and last season was loaned to Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała.

    The forward has been one of Podbeskidzie best players, scoring 10 goals in 33 games, which made him the teams top scorer. What is more, he also grabbed 2 assists and had no equals in the air - on average in every game he won 11 times in the air! The player weighs 73 kg and is 1.84 m tall.
