Piotr Polczak: Three points are worth their weight in gold

I hope our fans will come to the game tonight and cheer us to victory. Were counting on them, says Piotr Polczak ahead of the game against Zagłębie Lubin.
- You received eight yellow cards and were suspended for the last game. How was it watching your teammates play?
- Its never easy when you cant be on the pitch and help your team. I have to say it was much more stressful for me. However, the guys played very well. It really boosts your confidence when you score just before the final whistle and win a point.
- Was this draw some kind of a victory for your team?
- I think so, nevertheless we have to remember that all of the teams in the upper part of the table will fight for the top positions in the Ekstraklasa. Three points are worth their weight in gold because there will be many more draws. For now we are happy with the one point we got especially considering the circumstances.
- In the regular season you lost twice to Zagłębie so certainly you dont like playing against this team.
- Two games are never the same. Every team has their own style and it is difficult for us to take on some of them. Now we are in the postseason and I expect todays game against Zagłębie to be very different from the match against them in February. I think we shouldnt compare the two games. I hope our fans will come to the game tonight and cheer us to victory. Were counting on them.
- Considering your last games against Zagłębie would tonights victory mean even more to you?
- I think it would mean just the same as every victory. We are very determined to win three points as often as possible. Its a closely fought title race. Many teams are almost equal on points, maybe except for Legia who are way above others. All of the teams are within our reach and the final scores may hinge on the teams mental attitude and readiness to give good performance on particular day.
