Last Saturday Cracovia faced Górnik Łęczna in the last but one game of the regular Ekstraklasa season. Even though our team did not lose but got a draw, they cannot be content with how they played. To say the least, that wasnt their day. Nevertheless, Pasy kept third place in the league table thanks to other teams in the top eight among which only Zagłębie Lubin gained victory, defeating 4-1 Piast Gliwice.

‘We are well aware of the fact we didnt do good in the last two games. Nothing went as planned. However, thats how it goes in football, you cannot be sure of anything in sports. The table reflects how close is the race for the upper part of the table and top positions in the Ekstraklasa. We always say we need to look at ourselves, but when we see that other teams also didnt win three points, we regret even more we didnt defeat Górnik Łęczna. Victory would keep us in the top four at the end of the regular season. Anyhow, looking on the bright side, we must appreciate we didnt lose. We had chances in the first half and Górnik after the break, Piotr Polczak summed up Pasys last game.

Right now Cracovia players need to focus on matchday 30 which will see them face Śląsk in Wrocław - the game will take place on Saturday at 6 p.m. just like the rest of the last Ekstraklasa games in the regular season. Yesterday Cracovia had a day off and today the team had the first training.

Piotr Polczak talked about plans for this week: ‘We are now fully focused on the away game against Śląsk Wrocław. We are getting ready to do good on Saturday. We are yet to analyze the game with Górnik Łęczna together with the rest of the team and the coaching staff. Well see where we made mistakes. However, we need to remember that wasnt the most important of football matches. Every team has their bad games. Every team has games they are really motivated to win, but nothing comes out of it. I am sure a match like this will never happen again. From now on we want to play better and win points. The game continues, now it is our goal to win in Wrocław!
